ORAL AND POSTER INSTRUCTIONS
Information for Oral Presenters
A speakers' ready room, available every day
throughout the meeting, will be provided for speakers.
1. DATA PRESENTATION
If using a Power Point (or any other computer)
presentation, please note you need to bring it as a PC / IBM
compatible format on a floppy disk (3.5 "/1.44 MB) or on a CD or on
a "disk on key" using the USB port in the computer (no ZIP disk!)
and load it on one of the meeting’s computers in the Speakers’ Ready
Room, at least 1 hour before the start of the session.
You may supply your own laptop computer as a
back-up.
Please note that the meeting computer in the
session hall is being supplied with Windows XP and Office 2000 (at
least).
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR MACINTOSH USERS
If using a Macintosh laptop computer, please
note that you need to supply your own, confirm that it has a VGA
socket for external signal and come to check it first in the
Speakers’ Ready Room as soon as you arrive and later on in the
session hall where your lecture is taking place, either during the
coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 1 hour before
the start of the session.
2. VIDEO
If you need to use a video for your
presentation (VHS multi-system format only), please advise the EFC-4

not later than August 30, 2007.
3. OVERHEAD PROJECTION (projection of transparencies)
If using transparencies, please advise the
EFC-4 Secretariat, not later than August 30, 2007.
PLEASE NOTE: SLIDE PROJECTION WILL NOT BE
AVAILABLE
Information for Poster Presenters
Authors are responsible for bringing their
posters to the Congress. Please do not mail them to the Congress
Secretariat.
Please hang your posters as scheduled on the
Final Program.
The Secretariat is not responsible for posters not collected at the
end of the Meeting.
Full details for the preparation of the posters will be sent to
authors upon acceptance.
